Terms of Sale

Last updated: July 2026

These terms apply when you purchase a digital product from this website.

The product

The Small Business Website Kit is supplied as downloadable PDF files. The product description, contents and price shown on the website at the time of purchase form part of your order.

The kit provides general guidance and planning tools. It does not include personalised website, legal, tax or technical advice, and no particular search ranking, level of traffic, enquiries or sales is guaranteed.

Ordering and payment

Payment must be made in full through the payment method shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely through Squarespace Payments. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

Your order is accepted when payment has been successfully processed and you receive an order confirmation.

If a pricing or product-description error is identified before the files are supplied, you will be contacted and given the option to continue at the correct price or receive a refund.

Digital delivery

The files will be made available to download after payment. You are responsible for providing an accurate email address and downloading and saving the files.

If you do not receive access to the product or experience a problem with the download, contact hello@smallbusinesswebsitekit.com

Your right to use the kit

Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the kit for your own business.

You may:

  • download and save the files

  • print copies for your own use

  • use the guidance to plan and create your own business website

You may not:

  • share, resell or redistribute the files

  • upload them to a shared platform for use by others

  • copy or adapt the content for resale

  • use the kit to create a competing product

All intellectual-property rights remain with Small Business Website Kit.

Cancellation and refunds

Where UK consumer cancellation rights apply, you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. For digital downloads supplied immediately, that right is lost once downloading begins if you have expressly agreed to immediate supply and acknowledged that you will lose the right to cancel.

You will therefore be asked at checkout to agree that:

  • the digital content may be supplied immediately; and

  • your cancellation right will end when the download begins.

Once the files have been made available and downloading has begun, refunds are not normally provided simply because you change your mind.

This does not affect your legal rights if the product is faulty, corrupted, incorrectly supplied or materially different from its description. Digital content supplied to consumers must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.

Contact hello@smallbusinesswebsitekit.com if there is a problem, so that an appropriate replacement, correction or refund can be arranged where required.

Responsibility

You are responsible for deciding how to apply the guidance to your own business and website.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes to the product

Minor updates may be made to improve wording, formatting or accuracy. Purchasing the kit does not automatically include future products, major new editions or additional services unless this is expressly stated.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are purchasing as a consumer, you retain any mandatory rights available under the law where you live.
